Pearl Jam Biography

Pearl Jam's origin is in the band Mother Love Bone. His vocalist, Andrew Wood died for a heroine's overdose, stopping the promising career of the group. Other members, the bassist Jeff Ament and the guitarist Stone Gossard began to look for musicians to initiate a new project.
From his formation in Seattle, in 1990, Pearl Jam has had numerous changes, dividing for his name. In a beginning the name of one was baptized as "Mookie Blaylock" - player of the NBA - but legal problems forced them to change it. It was as well as they decided to use a more short name, in honor to the “jam” - supposedly hallucinogenic - that the grandmother of Vedder was preparing.
His first show was an October 22, 1990, in the Off Ramp Coffee of Seattle, where they played songs how “Alive”, “Even Flow” and “Black”., they are famous until today. In 1991 his first disc goes out to the sale .
Eddie Vedder, Mike McCready, Matt Cameron, Stone Gossard and Jeff Ament are the current formation of the band. That already has edited eight discs of study and an endless number of albumes live and summaries.
